As an occasional collector of War poetry it would have to be one of those copies of Sassoon's 'Old Huntsman' that he signed for Wilfred Owen at Craiglockhart. Appleyard, 9th Territorial London Regiment (Queen Victoria's Rifles), 1915-1917 .... if he couldn't find a secret, hidden away diary from a member of 2nd Sussex, of course!!!
