Dust Jacket Collector Posted 22 December , 2013 Posted 22 December , 2013 If members could persuade Santa to raid the world's museums and libraries which WW1 themed book would they most like to find in their stockings on Christmas morning? As an occasional collector of War poetry it would have to be one of those copies of Sassoon's 'Old Huntsman' that he signed for Wilfred Owen at Craiglockhart.
Jim Hastings Posted 22 December , 2013 Posted 22 December , 2013 Would probably have to be Trench Life in the Front Line, World War I: Diary of S.W. Appleyard, 9th Territorial London Regiment (Queen Victoria's Rifles), 1915-1917 .... if he couldn't find a secret, hidden away diary from a member of 2nd Sussex, of course!!!
