Hi,

I am researching Lieutenant Basil John Blackett, I have a very large amount of information about his service in the Australian Army and Australian Flying Corps and also quite a lot about his service with the Royal Flying Corps.

I have most of his details about his award of the Belgian Croix De Guerre such as Gazette dates for both London Gazette and Commonwealth of Australia Gazette.

I have most of his family details, even a picture of the house he was living at when he enlisted.

the only information I don't have is a image of him, I have images of the pilots he was with in the war but none of Basil.

does any one know of any place that might have an image.

I have tried his squadron archives, the Imperial War Museum even the Air Force Museum at Hendon but no luck.

any information would be a great help.

Andy.
