IanA Posted 11 November , 2013 Share Posted 11 November , 2013 I know it's a long shot, but my wife has a friend who is trying to trace her great grandfather's medals and has found one which was sold on eBay in May last year. He was a member of the 170th Tunneling Coy and was killed 6th August, 1915. Was anyone 'watching' this medal (a 14/15 star) or do you know who 'won' it? Any information gratefully received. IanA Posted 12 November , 2013 Author Share Posted 12 November , 2013 HANDY TO HAVE HIS NAME AND NUMBER . The name (oddly enough) is the one on the heading of the thread - Sapper W.P. Walker. I'll try to get his number and post it as soon as I can.
