Ken S. Posted 11 November , 2013 Share Posted 11 November , 2013 Just watched an interview with the writer and director of this movie, which was released last year. The story revolves around members of the 21st Battalion, CEF "as they prepare for the Battle of Flers-Courcelette". The reviews that I've seen are not that favorable, stating that the movie is "unrealistic" and "boring" - but it is nevertheless a WWI movie, and one of few that focuses on Canada's participation. The movie also has the distinction of having been filmed in one take and apparently holds the Guinness World Record for being the longest. http://www.21brothers.com/about.html
kenneth505 Posted 14 November , 2013 Share Posted 14 November , 2013 Simply do not understand the appeal of the one-take movie concept. Seems to defeat to usefulness of the technology but... your point is well taken, another wwi movie, I'll watch.
