He told me they belonged to his father in law who served with the 25th Osnabruck infantry regt. I appreciate that a picture only tells part of the story but does anybody have any thought regarding this set ? What are the actual medals for ? And what about the Iron cross ?I really know next to nothing about german medals and would be interested in any thoughts. They look genuine to my inexperienced eye !
