TJames Posted 8 November , 2013 Share Posted 8 November , 2013 (edited) Hi I made a post i think last year about my great grandfather (Stanley Lyman) as i couldn't find certain information about him. I knew he was a dispatch rider in the no.1 TCC, RE but wasn't sure were he served in ww1 from 1917-18. Does anybody have any information on the company? i think they served in Italy and from what i know he ended up at "29th Brigade, Headquarters, Germany. But I'm not sure why he ended up there. Terry_Reeves Posted 21 January , 2014 Share Posted 21 January , 2014 In November 1917, No 1 TCC was with Lines of Communication Troops in Italy. In the absence of the unit war diary, it might be worth looking at the L of C war diaries at TNA: http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/SearchUI/s/res?_q=Lines+of+Communication+Troop+Italy+AND+WO+95 TR
