Can anyone help with searching for Frederick Millincamp on CWGC he is recorded on Wednesfield Town War Memorial. He is the only Millincamp recorded on NA site for M.I.C's-Medal card of Millincamp, Fred Royal Army Medical Corps 68617 Private but i can't find his details on CWGC or SDGW any help would be apreciated.

Have you actually looked at the MIC image to see if there is a reference to his death?

He is presumably the 12 year old Fred Millincamp living in Wednesfield in 1901 - only one in the 1901 census (for what's that worth). It may be he died post-war but that local feeling was that his death was due to war service.

I never thought of his death being post-war. Thanks for the help.

From a locksmith website:

JOSEPH MILLINCAMP, 5 HALL STREET, WEDNESFIELD

Key maker. In 1921 Joseph Millincamp was a keymaker at Rookery Street Wednesfield and William Millincamp was making keys at 21 Hall Street Wednesfield.

They surely must have been related....??

There is also someone with this unusual surname living locally, in Codsall, and listed in the telephone directory.
