Jock Bruce Posted 25 September , 2004 Share Posted 25 September , 2004 Doug Have you actually looked at the MIC image to see if there is a reference to his death? He is presumably the 12 year old Fred Millincamp living in Wednesfield in 1901 - only one in the 1901 census (for what's that worth). It may be he died post-war but that local feeling was that his death was due to war service. Jock
Doug Lewis Posted 26 September , 2004 Author Share Posted 26 September , 2004 Jock I never thought of his death being post-war. Thanks for the help. Regards Doug.
Guest Pete Wood Posted 26 September , 2004 Share Posted 26 September , 2004 From a locksmith website: JOSEPH MILLINCAMP, 5 HALL STREET, WEDNESFIELD Key maker. In 1921 Joseph Millincamp was a keymaker at Rookery Street Wednesfield and William Millincamp was making keys at 21 Hall Street Wednesfield. They surely must have been related....?? There is also someone with this unusual surname living locally, in Codsall, and listed in the telephone directory.
