Especially the railway station Agra Cross (Sheet 27 NE4 L5/L11). Can anybody help? Thanks Simon

kenora Posted 17 November , 2013 Share Posted 17 November , 2013 Hi I just came across this thread. I recently found an original Sheet 27 map among some old family papers. I think it belonged to a relative who was a medic to the 27 Bn Northumberland Fusiliers. I attach a scan of the area in question. The map is dated December 1917. Incidentally I'm trying to decipher some of the markings on the map. There are several blue boxes with a red cross beside it and the notation 'MDS' . Anyone know what that might mean? Many thanks Shane
