Remembered Today:

Rose Mary Savage, Ulster VAD

Does anyone have any information about Rose Mary Savage, who I believe to be the woman mentioned on the web as an 'Ulster VAD' with dates of 1893-1939. I believe that she might be the 'R. M. Savage' who did the illustrations for Olive Dent's book 'A VAD in France' and am trying to confirm this. I know that she went to France as a VAD, and would be interested in finding out where exactly she worked while there. I have sent an enquiry to the BRCS Archives, but wondered if anyone here could add anything about her life and the likelihood of her being 'R. M. Savage'.

A member of Antrim/28, awarded a mention in despatches (not the LG type I don't think but the other whose name I forget).

I have a feeling that they might be 'B Mentions'? Or maybe not. I would love to be able to tie her service in to Rouen, and also find out exactly where she died - online links seem to suggest India, and she certainly went out to Calcutta post-war.
