Guest linders Posted 1 November , 2013 Share Posted 1 November , 2013 Hello, I'm joining the BBC bandwagon. I am Kate Linderholm, a journalist finding stories about WW1 for BBC Radio Sheffield, especially any from Doncaster, Barnsley, Rotherham and Chesterfield. I am researching and recording stories about life at home that will tell us about local landmarks like the National Projectile Factory at Templeborough, and human stories of what people were doing during the war. I plan to record as many as I can for radio and hold them until the centenary next year. This is part of a big BBC national project and they will also each be given a permanent page online by the BBC on a searchable map. I am already working on a story on Hadfield's helmets and I'd like to hear from you if there's been one handed down through the family and if you have a particularly pristine example or have special expertise on WW1 tin hats. You can either do that through this forum, or email me direct at kate.linderholm@bbc.co.uk thanks Kate
