WD61JG Posted 31 October , 2013 Share Posted 31 October , 2013 Hi Please could anyone help with any information on my relative Malcolm McCall, born Ayr 1897. I have got some family knowledge that he could have been a pilot? Thank you
SteveE Posted 31 October , 2013 Share Posted 31 October , 2013 There is a Medal Card available which could be him. It shows a Malcolm McCall as a Lieutenant, initially with the Royal Scots Fusiliers but later with the Royal Flying Corps and Royal Air Force. He qualified for the trio of 1914/1915 Star, British War & Victory Medal and served overseas initially on 15th November 1915 with M.E.F. and E.E.F. (Mesopotamian and Egyptian Expeditionary Forces). Card has a home address of 28 Park Circus, Ayr, Scotland. Regards Steve
