brownag Posted 27 October , 2013 Share Posted 27 October , 2013 The Edinburgh printing firm Banks & Co. Ltd produced an ornate printed roll of honour after the war. It came as black and white or colour, and two sizes - one narrower than the other. It looks like the firm would add the names themselves rather than send out a blank sheet. The two Presbyterian churches in Reston, Berwickshire used them - one of each design and size. "Merseman" has added them to the SWMP http://www.warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/viewtopic.php?t=8123&mforum=warmemscot http://www.warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/viewtopic.php?t=8124 They are cropping up in churches all over Scotland but has anyone on the forum seen them used outside Scotland? I wouldn't imagine Banks & Co. would have limited their sales to Scotland if there was an opportunity to provide them across the UK in the aftermath of the war.
