Remembered Today:

Banks & Co. Ltd printed Rolls of Honour outside Scotland

The Edinburgh printing firm Banks & Co. Ltd produced an ornate printed roll of honour after the war. It came as black and white or colour, and two sizes - one narrower than the other. It looks like the firm would add the names themselves rather than send out a blank sheet.

The two Presbyterian churches in Reston, Berwickshire used them - one of each design and size. "Merseman" has added them to the SWMP

They are cropping up in churches all over Scotland but has anyone on the forum seen them used outside Scotland? I wouldn't imagine Banks & Co. would have limited their sales to Scotland if there was an opportunity to provide them across the UK in the aftermath of the war.

Thanks

Adam
