ricko Posted 22 October , 2013 Share Posted 22 October , 2013 Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me with interpreting the medal card of Arthur Edwin Brice Essex Yeomanry Remount Service (Reg No 1151) or can find out any more about his service. Another card has MID Lon? Gary? 14.6.18 Page 7049 on it. Cheers

eyman Posted 26 October , 2013 Share Posted 26 October , 2013 Ricko Thanks for asking about him and pointing out the MID, which I had not previously spotted Here is the info I have on him: Arthur Edwin Brice son of R A Brice, Rivenhall 1151, Essex Yeo To France 30 Nov 1914 with 1/1st EY Wounded 13 May 1915 in the arm - this was the attack at Frezenburg Ridge Commissioned 2 October 1915 as 2nd Lieut, Lincs Yeo (LG 1.10.15 p9656). The medal roll in WO329/22 shows this was 3/1st Lincs Yeo Died 26 January 1967, age 81 In WO338, there is a long number reference for his papers (LN202426) which suggests probable WW2 service I hope this assists Best wishes Ian
