Sorry if this is in the wrong forum:

Anyone got any info on the above, please? Especially on the National Shell factory that was located at Swansea. Looking for a few meaty facts for my forthcoming book and wonder if anyone has the history of the Ministry of Munitions and if it mentions Swansea?

Sorry to jump in! Any mention of Merthyr Tydfil? The Cyfarthfa Iron/steel works restarted for the war and after the workers belived the jobs would be safe, crawsheys shut it down PDQ!
