Mark Posted 23 September , 2004 Share Posted 23 September , 2004 In April 2002 I reported to the CWGC that a name on a headstone at Hangard Wood British Cemetery was incorrectly spelt. A year later it hadn't been corrected but I was assured that it was scheduled to be done. I have today received an email from Peter Stainthorpe at CWGC to confirm the correction has now been made. 320088 L/Cpl F H Bensley, B Coy, 6 Battalion London Regiment is now correctly honoured.
