Tuscania1918 Posted 27 September , 2013 Share Posted 27 September , 2013 I have come to the Forum seeking advice and suggestion for a distinctive volume set of World War One. I have seen many over the past few weeks and just don't know which one is the best . I would be grateful for any help.
Guest Posted 28 September , 2013 Share Posted 28 September , 2013 I can recommend The Long Long Trail itself, and, as mentioned on the page, The Official History of the Great War compiled by Brigadier-General Sir James E. Edmonds. It's not cheap, mind? There is a CD-ROM available. Mike
RammyLad1 Posted 28 September , 2013 Share Posted 28 September , 2013 I would also agree with Mike in regards the Official History of the Great War. I have the full collection of the printed works, France and Belgium, on my bookshelf and dip into them for reference. Expensive but vital. My only crititism of the printed version is that the maps are too small. Duncan
