Sandell , I have tried Ancestry and cant seem to find anything on him. Can any one tell how i find out about him , and what he did and where he served etc etc . He was awarded the British War Medal and Mercantile Marine Medal, details of which can be found on the National Archives website under the following reference http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/SearchUI/Details?uri=D8089247 His photograph and other details of his Mercantile Marine service can be found on Findmypast.
