Sorry if it is a bit late but in the Sunday Express magazine there is a largeish article on 29 of the 40 surviving veterans it gives a small piece and a picture of them all.

It is it is in a seperate magizine that is with the paper so make sure it is with it you can't miss it on the front cover is the back of the victory medal doesn't the newsagent on Meenestraat ?

I do have a scanner if you you send me your E-Mail address I will try my best to send it that way but it is pretty big for the scanner I have but I will work something out if not I will post you a photocopy or somthing.

Unfortunately on reading the sunday Express paper, the 29 veterans are now numbered 28 due to a veteren dying on thursday,his name was Walter Humphrys aged 105, he was a private in the Civil Service Rifles.

Of the others pictured all of them are well in to their hundreds i.e Smiler Marshall. It seems such a shame that they number so few. But hopefully the'll be with us a few years yet .
