Dawson Posted 22 April , 2003 Share Posted 22 April , 2003 Unfortunately on reading the sunday Express paper, the 29 veterans are now numbered 28 due to a veteren dying on thursday,his name was Walter Humphrys aged 105, he was a private in the Civil Service Rifles. Of the others pictured all of them are well in to their hundreds i.e Smiler Marshall. It seems such a shame that they number so few. But hopefully the'll be with us a few years yet .
