peregrinvs Posted 16 September , 2013 Share Posted 16 September , 2013 Hi, Slightly odd request, but could any MkVI Webley owners out there tell me what the dimensions of the mainspring are? Specifically the lengths of the upper and lower 'arms'. Thanks, Mark
MikB Posted 19 September , 2013 Share Posted 19 September , 2013 I've never owned one, though I can remember shooting one years ago. There's an exploded diagram here:- http://www.americanrifleman.org/articles/webley-mark-vi-revolver-exploded-view If you scale the spring drawing off the 6" barrel length, it looks as if the top arm's a gnat's over 3" and the bottom about 2 1/4" long? Lancashire Fusilier Posted 19 September , 2013 Share Posted 19 September , 2013 Mark, Here is some additional information, if the diagrams do not work, I have 2 Webley Mk.VI's in my Collection, and I shall be able to access them at the weekend and measure the mainspring if you wish, just let me know.
