Coldstreamer Posted 1 September , 2013 Posted 1 September , 2013 the one he first served overseas in - well for the campaign medals gallantry will be who ever with at the time - that said I have a MM named to 5th Btn CG and the MM wasn't won with the 5th but he was in the 5th after the event
Jerry B Posted 2 September , 2013 Posted 2 September , 2013 I looked at a medal group today (2 out of his trio) and he first served with the SWB and later with the RWF and they were named to the SWB, so as Coldstreamer posted seems to be correct.
