A prime example of why war memorial researchers should NEVER take the 'names carved in stone' as totally correct.

You will note below two Daniel McFalls and two James McFalls ... on our local war memorial only one D. McFall and one J. McFall commemorated.

here endeth the lesson - thou shalt not stop researching.

BTW the two Daniels are cousins.

1915 McFalls are cousins.

James 1915 is a brother of Daniel 1916. Confused ... how d'ye think I (and one other) felt! ;)
