Shell Case Markings Help

Recommended Posts

12 Pr. Naval shell case ("N" Broad Arrow) made I think by the Canadian Cartridge Co. of Hamilton, Ontario. I cannot quite make out the symbols at 3 o'clock but it looks like the two concentric "C" monogram of that company.

It has been filled once with Cordite Full Charge ("CF") as part of Lot 104. Date is self explanatory.

Regards

Thank you for the information. You're right about the C monogram at 3 o'clock. Will report back to the owner at work on Monday,

Many thanks

Bob
