Mark Hone Posted 18 April , 2003 Share Posted 18 April , 2003 Forum users will probably be dismayed to learn that the story of the chap pressing the CWGC to repatriate his great-uncle's body from France has now (Good Friday) made the Daily Telegraph and possibly other nationals. I was disappointed that the Telegraph failed to state the CWGC's case more clearly but at least there was no repetition of the nonsense that the Commission had originally given its permission or that the campaign was officially backed by the Royal British Legion. Annette Burgoyne Posted 18 April , 2003 Share Posted 18 April , 2003 Thanks Kate I'll e-mail the Telgraph, to tell them that most people with knowledge of the Great War, are one against any such move, and two its totally unrealistic for many reasons.
