Hi Everyone,on a M.I.C for an Individual who Had Served in Two Units.Would the Reference to the Unit shown on the Medal Rolls,indicate which Unit His Medals would have been Stamped with. Kind regards Phil

Normally an "X" with a "." top, bottom, left and right was marked against both the service number/Regiment and medal roll reference they were issued under.

It will be the unit he was in when he first arrived in theatre of war.
