Stephen Barker Posted 13 September , 2004 Share Posted 13 September , 2004 A colleague at work has the bottom of two cartridge cases, one inverted to fit over the other to make a round brass box with a lid on top. One case has the following markings around the base: GFSP 147 1916 SP1 97 MRZ The other has: 250 JAN PATRONEFABRIK 1916 KARLSRUHE Sp255 Does this mean anything to anyone?? I'd be grateful for your ideas. Thanks Stephen
Stephen Barker Posted 13 September , 2004 Author Share Posted 13 September , 2004 Should have added that these shells are between 3.5 and 4 inches diameter, Stephen
