nigelcave Posted 20 June , 2013 Share Posted 20 June , 2013 As I recall, the weapon that killed him is kept in a Hapsburg home [palace] not too far from Vienna and where he and Sophie are buried; the tombs etc were paid for by the Hungarian Government, which of course remained a monarchy (apart from its 'Soviet' period, until after WW II.
