Remembered Today:

Ieper

Can anyone recommend any self-catering accommodation in Ieper that would be suitable for an elderly couple and two other adults (who will need a twin room or two separate rooms)?

A ground floor accommodation would be ideal: although the elderly couple can manage steps if necessary, they cannot walk far.

They would need the accommodation within the week of 23rd-31st October 2004 (not necessarily the full week).

I've already had a look on the Ieper tourist website, and wondered if anyone here had any tips...

Thanks,

Catherine

Dear Catherine,

If you type in the link I am forwarding you, you will see the names and the details of 2 self catering holiday cottages in Langemark. I know for a fact that "De meibloem" does have rooms on the ground level.

hope this helps you.

bests wishes,

Charlotte

Catherine

Being an Aussie, as was Tubby Clayton, I have always

stayed at Talbot house at" Pop's".

Self catering with a supermarket very handy and if you need

a bit of local friendship, a couple of good little pubs.

Apart from front door access to Talbot House, every where else

from memory is very user friendly for the elderly or disabled

enjoy your visit

Peter
