Lonnie D56 Posted 16 April , 2003 Share Posted 16 April , 2003 if this works for anyone interested a copy photo of my grandfathers demobilisation papers any comments regarding this as per vital info etc, that is i assume the rank would be staff sergeant and that the fact no medals means that he would only have recieved campaign ribbons not 'valour'. Also given i believe he served overseas in the Desert so my mother tells me i have a wellington school, somerset old book showing former boys who served ,this states he served as attatched to royal welch fusiliers,BEF,France but no dates and im also sure he was in Ireland at some point what ribbons would he have been entitled too. sorry to waffle so much but any comments greatly appreciated lonnie
