Tim Birch Posted 11 September , 2004 Share Posted 11 September , 2004 Terry's photo from the slag heap at Loos got me wondering just how much these features have changed since 1915? There is millions of tons of slag in them, so it is unlikely that they will have been moved, although they may now be bigger and there may be more. Does anyone have any info on these? n cherry Posted 13 September , 2004 Share Posted 13 September , 2004 As you probably know it is now possible to get onto the Double Crassier and I was on it last Wednesday....good view of the battlefield of Loos, our guide Isabelle from the Museum said that the original DC can still be seen at the bottom of the 'new' DC...looking over the edge is a small mound not dissimilar to photos I've seen of the DC in 1915....
