Guest SAMSODA Posted 23 May , 2013 Share Posted 23 May , 2013 Thanks so much for the map Kevin, I did'ent realise it was all so vast! I take it that the 8th Gen Hospital Rouen is in a different location? Do you think it will be difficult to get hold of some photo's of both hospitals? Thanks again and kind regards, Sam
b3rn Posted 24 May , 2013 Share Posted 24 May , 2013 Not definitive by any means, but our notes on Le Tréport have links to photos etc http://throughtheselines.com.au/research/le-treport Our notes on Rouen focus on the Australian General Hospital but perhaps there is some background there that might be useful http://throughtheselines.com.au/research/rouen - I would search this forum for Rouen
jhill Posted 24 May , 2013 Share Posted 24 May , 2013 There are a few photos of 2nd Canadian Hospital at Le Treport listed at the Canadian Arvhives site. Some have on line versions, such as the one below, which supposedly shows the receiving area in November of 1916.
