Stephen Barker Posted 21 May , 2013 Share Posted 21 May , 2013 HLF is making at least £1million available per year for six years until 2019. It will provide grants between £3,000 and £10,000 enabling communities and groups right across the UK to explore, conserve and share their First World War heritage and deepen their understanding of the impact of the conflict. If you've been thinking about developing a project, or even if you haven't, here's the perfect opportunity to take an active part in the Centenary. Have a look... ....here Just a thought. Anneca Posted 21 May , 2013 Share Posted 21 May , 2013 What submission would the GWF require to make to receive funding from the HLF? (Or would this be feasible?) Surely the forum is already a "community" which, by its existence, already shares the heritage of the Great War; to quote from HLF "from memorials, buildings and sites, to photographs, letters and literature. The Forum is already conserving and sharing the Great War heritage with a vast amount of knowledge from many of its members, also deepening understanding of the impact of the conflict.”
