The first which demobilised first (regardless of time served) those men with the skills and experience necessary to get key industries back in to peace time operation so as to have jobs available for the rest (the logical approach) or the one he was forced to adopt very quickly in which a simple first in first out approach applied (the emotionally acceptable one and which meant greater post war unemployment)?
