seejay Posted 5 April , 2013 Author Share Posted 5 April , 2013 Well its worn at the point of the 3, the 3 is just visible so there could have been a 1 there. It weighs 7 lbs
TonyE Posted 5 April , 2013 Share Posted 5 April , 2013 it is an empty 13 Pr, hence weight of only 7 lbs. Regards TonyE

MikB Posted 6 April , 2013 Share Posted 6 April , 2013 If its calibre is 3.25", it's not a 13 pr., which was of 3" calibre. An 18 pr. had a calibre of 3.3" Could the worn '3' be the right hand half of an '8', with the preceding '1' lost or failed to stamp? MikB Posted 6 April , 2013 Share Posted 6 April , 2013 Write 100 times 'when posting a picture of munitions always include a ruler' I've been caught out trying to scale off those before. It needs to be at similar distance from the camera as the dimension to be scaled, or lens effects play the cat an' banjo with accuracy.
