RNCVR Posted 6 September , 2004 Share Posted 6 September , 2004 I wonder if anyone might be planning a visit to NIAGARA Cemetery in Iwuy, France in the future?? I would like to obtain a photograph(s) of the gravesite of a Canadain serviceman buried there - 412201 Sergt Richard Allen CLARKE. He was KIA 11 October 1918, & at the time was serving with the 21st Battn CEF. His gravesite is Row B, Grave 41. I have photos of his memorial in his home town & the local cemetery memorial here in Ontario Canada & would now like to obtain a photo of his gravesite. Thanks very much in advance, Bryan

RNCVR Posted 7 September , 2004 Author Share Posted 7 September , 2004 Thats super - thanks very much Graham. This fellow was from a very small town in Ontario. I have a fair am't of info on him including photos & I feel a photo of his gravesite would nicely complete his display. I'll post photos of the two memorials in his town later. RNCVR Posted 9 September , 2004 Author Share Posted 9 September , 2004 This is a photo of the Great War memorial in Coe Hill, Ontario, Canada. R.A. Clarke was from Coe Hill, a very small community south of Bancroft. Bryan
RNCVR Posted 9 September , 2004 Author Share Posted 9 September , 2004 This photo is the War memorial in Bancroft, Ontario, Canada. Bancroft is a small town in North Hastings & is the centre for this area - all of the servicemen from WWI to Korea who were from the North Hastings area are commemorated on this memorial. R.A. Clarke is in the upper left of the memorial among those killed in the Great War. Bryan
