Barry Q Posted 6 September , 2004 Share Posted 6 September , 2004 I'm off to a militaria fair this weekend. One of the things I'm looking for is a Brodie. Does anyone have a simple guide to spotting a proper WWI Brodie? I'm expecting to find re-furbished helmets (with WWII parts) and maybe a few replicas. I just need a few pointers. Max Poilu Posted 6 September , 2004 Share Posted 6 September , 2004 Barry, There were a number of lengthy 'Brodie' threads on the forum about four weeks ago, have a quick search - there were many helpful tips there and plenty of pictures. Also have a search for 'militaria', again there have been quite a few threads aimed at new collectors with lots of good advice.
