Tim P Posted 14 March , 2013 Share Posted 14 March , 2013 can anyone post images, preferably colour, of the eagles worn on the shoulders of the RAF in 1918? I am also looking into the use of 1902 pattern service dress by the RFC and into RAF service rather than the maternity tunic by other ranks. Any guidance would be appreciated. Tim P Posted 15 March , 2013 Author Share Posted 15 March , 2013 brilliant. just what I was looking for. now, all the references I can find show this eagle pattern being worn on the 1918 pattern khaki RAF uniform with belt. Things being what they were I can easily believe that 1902 SD also had them. me being me though, I would like that evidenced if anyone is able.
