AOK4 Posted 8 November , 2002 Share Posted 8 November , 2002 Hello, Perhaps it is also worth noting that there is a commemoration service in Geluveld (Gheluvelt on the Menin Road) on Armistice Day that starts at 10.15 am. At 11 am a delegation from the Worcestershire Regiment and from the former opponents of the German 54. Reserve-Division from Esslingen (Württemberg) will honour the fallen at the monuments near the windmill of Geluveld (memorials to the 2/Worcestershire and 1/South Wales Borderers). Perhaps an interesting alternative for the Welshmen who visit Ypres?
