Tim G Posted 23 February , 2013 Share Posted 23 February , 2013 Hello, Has anyone any information on the design/layout of the slip-on cloth shoulder titles worn by the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers? I am assuming they are the usual khaki wool with ether white embroidered or white painted/printed unit desginations but in what layout/design? Do they follow the brass title ie 'RINNISKILLING' with seperate grenade above ? Any information especialy pictures of the titles and of Soldiers wearing them would be of immense help. Any photos of this Regiment in general would be good to see but especialy of these cloth titles. As a matter of interest just how commonly worn were these items ? Thank You, Tim

Muerrisch Posted 25 February , 2013 Share Posted 25 February , 2013 Possibly not, Westlake notes R.INNIS with separate grenade above as recently as 1908, and that would have been a handier design.
