Chris_Baker Posted 13 April , 2003 Share Posted 13 April , 2003 Privates Reeves and Baker are hereby mentioned in despatches for rescuing Michael and Signals from a desperate last stand in Tesco's car park in Ashford. Seriously guys, I am very glad we were able to help.

Michael Posted 14 April , 2003 Author Share Posted 14 April , 2003 As it happens, it couldn't have turned out better for us. Chris and Terry escorted us around the Salient for 2 days. Terry's emotive description of the 2nd Worcesters at Gheluvelt together with Chris's story of the 1st South Staffs made the whole landscape come to life. So, thanks Chris and Terry, I hope one day to have the same level of expertise as yourselves. Thanks also to Tom and Norma for offering us a lift after Chris came to the rescue.
