hog Posted 16 February , 2013 Share Posted 16 February , 2013 Gents. I am trying to locate 3 medals belonging to my great Uncle (on my Grandmothers side ). The medals are 1. The 1914 star. 2. The war medal 3. The Victory medal. The family dont seem to have them and just wondering if any collectors have got them in their own collection. Any info of there whereabouts would be most welcome. Not sure if they were given away by the family or just lost. Many thanks in advance. Lance Corpral John Bartholomew. dutch701 Posted 20 February , 2013 Share Posted 20 February , 2013 Takes a while for the adim to accept you on the medal forum but when you do get on there is a link where you can pay five pounds and your details of what you are looking for will remain until the medals you are looking for are found , where as if you use the magazine it will only be published for one month. Guest exuser1 Posted 20 February , 2013 Share Posted 20 February , 2013 Also try the regimental museum ,not for his trio but they are very helpful with details of service ,and have the war diaries on cd at a very reasonable price .
