FredJCarss Posted 2 September , 2004 Share Posted 2 September , 2004 I have seen headstones to IWGC and CWGC employees very similar to forces with the commision crest. A friend has medals to an old commision employee and I wondered if there was a roll to find where he might be buried? Fred
Terry Denham Posted 2 September , 2004 Share Posted 2 September , 2004 Fred I have a roll if you wish to give me the name. These are not War Graves but are Non-World War Graves in CWGC Care. Not all CWGC staff are buried in CWGC cemeteries and not all are in CWGC care - only if they expressed a wish to be so and died overseas. Therefore, it is possible that your name may not be on the list.

Terry Denham Posted 5 September , 2004 Share Posted 5 September , 2004 Sorry Fred He is not a staff member in CWGC care. There are only two such ex-staff buried in the UK and one of those is Sir Fabian Ware himself (founder of CWGC).
