GraemeClarke Posted 4 February , 2013 Share Posted 4 February , 2013 Chris, I have a man on the Walsall RoH who DoW on Wednesday 4 April 1917. As he received injuries to head, shoulders and neck Im guessing he was injured not too long prior to his death. Do you by any chance have the War Diary covering a couple of weeks prior to this date. BTW, he was Sgt. 9642 G.A. Reading M.M. Will PM you just in case, Many thanks, Graeme PS, your 'box' must be full, you cannot receive any messages, Graeme

GraemeClarke Posted 8 February , 2013 Share Posted 8 February , 2013 Hi Chris, Have PMd you but it appears to be unread. Just wondering if you had the diary at all ?? Regards, Graeme
Chris_Baker Posted 8 February , 2013 Share Posted 8 February , 2013 Sorry Graeme, must have missed it. For some reason I often do not notice new entries in my PM box. They don't seem to be as prominently displayed as in earlier forum versions. April 1917 - I will go and check. EDIT - added - I have the diary for March but not April, I am afraid. At the end of March they were in billets at Oosthove Farm, supplying working parties in the Ploegsteert area.
