IWM Battle patch survey

Hi

Has any member got access to the survey/questionaire carried out by the Imperial War Museum on the subject of battle patches ?

I would very much like to hear from members who have.

The originals of the completed questionnaires are held at the IWM in the Department of Printed Books. The scope of them covered a lot more aspects of uniform etc than the battalion i/d patches. The complete series was photocopied and bound for use and can be consulted by the public in the reading room, I don't know if the reference departments are still open for visitors during the current gallery closures.

Thanks for that info - i had thought the IWM was closed until July 2013 but the research departments are open. Will make an appointment to go and see what they have got.

As far as I recall they were referred to as the Uniform Questionnaires by the library.
