Does anyone have a copy of the handbook for the 2.75 inch mountain gun, ie an original or PDF, or have access to one? I'm aware of a digitised one but unfortunately it doesn't have any of the plates, which are what i'm after

Best regards, Rob

Pop down to the Clavell library in Woolwich, they probably have box of 2.75 inch How stuff. You have to search they don't have indexes for box contents.

It certainly is. Here is one of my shots of one in the Heugh Battery Museum, Hartlepool.

I've been in touch with the RA Museum who have a copy, however proving rather hard to get down there anytime soon

Anyway, what has it got to do with the RFC please?

Bit heavy for a Sopwith Camel, innit?

If you mean my previous 'interests' column.... changed! As are several other parts of the profile which were in dire need of updating

  • 2 weeks later...

Would that be the 'screw gun' that you can't get way from?

You will need "Tales of the Mountain Gunners" then, MacFetridge and Warren.

Thanks for the heads up, found a copy and hopefully on the way soon
