Help with identificatiion of shoulder insignia Royal - Fusiliers?

I wonder if anyone can help with an identification question? I am trying to identify the shoulder insignia worn by my grandfather Frank Everard Dyer. In the attached photo, it looks like my grandfather is wearing the Royal Fusiliers shoulder insignia - flaming grenade and RF, but I would be happy for those more knowledgable to agree or disagree. I would agree, it appears to be the letters RF surmounted by a flaming grenade.
