Paul Reed Posted 1 September , 2004 Share Posted 1 September , 2004 The IWM photo library do indeed have the aerial photo archive used by the British Army in WW1, but it is indexed by map reference, so you will need those to access the photos. There are no prints available to view; you just order up what is there according to the index cards and hope for the best! I have had many 'misses' as well as hits; negatives poorly or incorrectly indexed, but the results are worthwhile.
