As I am new to this where do I go then for more information? I am sure its simple..but there you are.
Terry_Reeves Posted 21 January , 2013 Share Posted 21 January , 2013 He was a member of a RE railway unit. In March 1918 all men serving with Transportation Troops were re numbered with a WR prefix. The second part is the reference to which leads you to the actual medal roll at the National Archives. Unfortunately in his case it will not give you any more information than the medal index card contains. TR
