Pals

Due to work, kids, elderly mother and finding the time I've not been about.

Had my weekly look around the local charity shops today and ended up with this little lot.

Info on the SWB Please 486649

Your thoughts please. TBH I was made up.

All the best

Simon

Some say that A in Australia is closer to the end of the scroll in many WW1 examples. Some also say that many WW1 badges were solid and not voided as in this example. There were many UK makers in WW1 which had makers marks, which this does not. Some WW2 examples were coated in black. I think the fact that you obtained it in the UK indicates it is more likely WW1. There were that many makers and different dies that it is impossible to tell with complete certainty I'm afraid. Rgds Tim D
