Moonraker Posted 17 December , 2012 Share Posted 17 December , 2012 Many of us know of the famous Fovant military badges, mostly carved during the Great War. Now the local History Interest Group is compiling a teachers' pack on the war with the centenary in mind See here. There's plenty more WWI information elsewhere on the website (which has been mentioned before in the Forum). Moonraker
Gareth Davies Posted 12 January , 2013 Share Posted 12 January , 2013 There are a number of Wiltshire villages doing something for the 10oth anniversary. The Wylye Valley web site is http://www.wylyevalley1914.org.uk/ and we are hoping to have something up and running on the Chitterne website in the next few months. A list of all such Wiltshire village sites would be useful.
