Looking for a War Diary for the above --Harry Burton, originally from Nottinghamshire (service number 775991) died 21st April, 1917.

Any help gratefully received.

Once again Graeme many many thanks. Just one question--I have 2 other Canadians and their death dates and war diary entries do not seem to tally - any idea where I can get more information to tie it down?

For example --when one man was killed, his battalion was well behind lines and no casualties are reported on the returns.

Paul

Post the names. Someone with a higher access to Ancestry than myself can look at their cards in the Canadian soldiers section. Sometimes there is card

detailing their demise.

Regards,

Graeme
